I have no memories of my father save from photos since my parents had an unhappy marriage which had disintegrated by the time I was two. There is one photo I remember distinctly the only one that shows the three of us together. I am a babe in my mother's arms and she is smiling like she is the happiest person in the world something straight out of a magazine.
